Understanding Your Financial Options
We Can Help
When deciding on any elderly care for your loved one, it’s important to consider and plan for the associated financial costs. If your loved one’s savings aren’t enough to cover the cost of home care, they may be able to take advantage of financial assistance and planning programs
Aid and Attendance Benefits: Veterans may be eligible for financial resources for senior care. Spouses of veterans may also be eligible for senior care through these VA benefits.
Long-Term Care Insurance: Long-term care insurance policies can be used for home care services. We accept and work with all long term care policies.
Medicare: Medicare offers very limited benefits, especially when it comes to day-to-day assistance. NEW plans will start covering home care
Medicaid: Federal assistance to seniors in need of services such as home care. We accept the CT Home Care Program.
I wanted to send some positive feedback your way regarding the service Heaven’s Hands provided to my parents when we were in a crisis. We needed care IMMEDIATELY.
I made the first call to Heaven’s Hands Home Care late in the evening. I got a care coordinator on the phone and they came out early next morning. WOW!
A couple of things after that which exceeded my expectations... your staff made follow up calls to see if everything was going well... you provided the same care giver time (whom was amazing) to reduce confusion. I spoke with staff members on the phone when calling in and each and every one of them was courteous, caring and extremely helpful.Sarah K.
